For the non-Dutch here, Den Bosch is spelled s'Hertogenbosch on maps. It
took me ages to find it! :-)
Jackie and I visited this event two years ago and it is truly impressive
with displays of thousands of animals of all types.
We had hoped to go this year but Jackie has a judging engagement that
weekend. We have not totally discounted making a day-trip to The
Netherlands but I have a meeting in Blackpool on Thursday and will not
get home 'till late in the evening, and we would have to drive to
Karin's on Friday, and visit the show on the way home on Saturday so
that Jackie could Judge in Berkshire on Sunday.
That would mean driving nearly 1500 miles (2500km) in three days whilst
crossing four countries and one major waterway!.
I am on the lookout for cheap flights to an airport Den Bosch. Karin,
what airports are there apart from Schiphol?
