Sue and others;

I have to ship a large number of animals, and I thank you for this
as it came just as I was trying to find an air shipper.

However.

They are careful, conscientious and can give you lots of data about
how the shipment will be routed and try to make sure that the shipment
is scheduled so it won't 'fry' (my particular need, the shipment would
have gone through Dallas as one of two transfers).

They are also limited and expensive. They have a list of cities they
go to and from, and that is it. In particular; yes, they do service my
city as one of their service points. However, the closest city to my
intended destination was about five hours drive. And they were about
a hundred dollars more expensive.

They do have a lot shorter time for pre-ship reservation. They do
require a veternarian certificate (they all do). The woman I talked to
on the phone was very helpful, very nice, and had information right
at her fingertips (such as the shipment would be 7 hours in transit
and would have two transfers with delays of so long at each, and
they were worried about Dallas (the first of the transfers) and she
said they could route it for cooler hours IF I would be willing to get
the shipment to my end at a really early hour...)

I am going with Delta, with 'Delta-Dash'. They have rates on the web,
and have a special category for 'warm blooded animals freight'. Plus
they service a LOT more cities.

[still in search for a better way to legally ship, as this is very pricey.
I am dealing with over a hundred animals, so the cost break comes
down to about $1.50 each and then it's worth it...]

>> We thought we would let you know a little about our company, Pet Air.
>> We have been shipping animals for the past twenty-five years. For the
>> first twenty-one years we shipped only our own animals . About four
>> years ago we couldn't help by notice that as each year went by,
>> shipping by air was getting tougher and tougher. Many of our
>> customers, friends, suppliers, and competitors asked how we could we
>> keep shipping when they were having such a hard time. That question
>> set off a new course of business for us. Pet Air was formed to help

>> way our twenty-one years of experiance had taught us. Due to the huge
>> success of Pet Air we quit selling and shipping our own animals and
>> devoted all of our time and resources to shipping for others. We
