he just died, so I sadly didn't expect the other one to make it. But I woke
up this morning to two squeaky pups! One was smaller and one was bigger,
which makes sense, because one had the chance to nurse. So I'll never know
what happened. At least Madison's litter got through the night okay, and
should be successful. The terrific two are Angel and Gabriel.

This happened to me before, I was feeding my gerbils when I noticed a pup was
missing, I thought that the poor thing just died, and the mother got rid of
it. I started to feed the rest of the gerbils, when I thought I should at
least look around for it (it might be still alive). So I started to move
bedding around, and as I was uncovering some bedding on the other side of
the tank, part of the bedding moved. I uncovered the rest of it and found
the sweet little baby still alive :).
