Hi all,
The problem with a sandbath is that they kick al the sand out of it and
all the bedding in it. I have an idea to fix that!
Take an old gerbilbal, put tape for the airholes of one hemisphere. Fill
it halfway with sand, dust, whatever... Put it on a little clay pot.
That way there's only one opening, in the top, big enough for gerbils,
but they really have to do their best to get the sand out and the
bedding in it. Because you put the ball on the claypot, it can't fall
over to one side.
This construction is working for me, but I have to admit it is a little
big to put in an aqauarium.
