My sweet girl Lee was found last night with a completely soaked
underbelly. The water bottle is intact, no part of the cage is
wet exept the next where she was laying, and it doesn't stink of
urine, just sort of a musky smell. She was fine other than that,
but even so I wiped her off and put her on the other side of the
room from the rest of my clan. This morning, she's weak and is
still sopping wet. I just don't see how a gerbil can urinate that
much. I've quarantined her from my other gerbs and she's in a
plastic tank right now.I'm about to go put everyone on meds, but
can someone please tell me what they think this is? I know going
to the bathroom on themselves is a sign of Tyzzer's, but again, I
don't see how any gerbil do that much. Anyway, please answer
ASAP.
