I was reading in the latest Critters Magazine about pet rats and I'm thinking
about getting a few. (I've been studying for months about rats as pets.) It
says in the article that walnut bedding makes the best litter for litter
boxes for them, if you're trying to litter box train them. I'd like more
info on this or where to find walnut bedding.
Also, would this work for gerbils? Can they be litter box trained? Is
walnut safe litter, how well does it work to control odors. I've also seen
"rodent litter" you can buy specifically for rodent litter boxes and ferret
litter boxes. Is this safe for rats and/or gerbils..does it work?
