A question for anyone who's good with colorpoints and slates.. (:

China, a young female (whom i purchased from Paige, and is quite healthy!) I
have, is a slate. However, although she's got all characteristics of a
slate, there are definate dark points on her coat. Like how a burmese has a
darker tail, ears, nose and feet, China's light charcoal body is developing
these darker areas as well.. as if she were a colorpoint. Her entire tail is
almost jet black, as are the tips of her ears, nose, and mostly legs- but not
toes. She wasn't like that when she first arrived.. (or if she was, it was
too slight a difference for me to have noticed), but now I can definitely see
a difference. Is this just a type of moulting they go through? I've never
owned a slate before, and I know lilacs can go through something similar.. or
does she have colorpointed areas? Thanks in advance..
