OK, does anyone remember my "mystery cream" that I told you about a few
months ago? I sold the pup before I told you guys about it, and ever since
then I have been WAITING and WAITING and WAITING for another one ... well
good news, in one of my litters I got TWO! They are both self-colored (their
family has no connection to non-selfcolored), and that's why I was confused
(since selfcolored gerbils don't come in cream). I was wondering if I might
have created a new color, would it be possible? Has anyone heard of any
kinds of gerbils like this? I was amazed when they started to get their fur
in, because they looked COMPLETELY silver. They lost that color within a few
days, now they are cream. Does anyone know how my gerbils are able to do
this??? I hope in their next litter they have some!!

P.S My pups are NOT red fox, they are too creamish to be a red fox. I have
seen red foxes on the different gerbils sites and my pups are not one.
