**** Actually, no, I'm not sure. The parents, I believe, have the sp gene
as they have small clusters of white hairs throughout their coat. The
babies' coats are solid black, so I just assumed they were black. When
would the distinction become clear? They are now 15 days old. The nails are
still not black.
