Nice site Paula. Glad you enjoyed the show.
One small thing. London is not a regional show. It is one of two major
national small animal events and people go there from all over the
country. The only thing about it is regional is that that it takes place
in a regional sports centre. Amongst many small animal people it is
known simply as "The London" in the same way dog people talk about
"Crufts".
There is a nice picture of my display alongside you degus. Although I am
glad to say I seem to be missing from all the photos!
There is a pictorial record of the 1997 show at:
http://www.gerbils.co.uk/gerbils/london97.htm
By comparison this year there were 162 gerbils entered by 14 exhibitors.
Coincidentally Brian Leiper was again the judge.
