Hi,
One of the little guys I bought yesterday often has little strokes when
you pick him up. But it only takes a couple of seconds. If you put him
down in the aquarium he just sits there. He's not a runt, and yesterday
he was as healthy and lively as the other ones. I gave them a scale with
water, cause they obviously didn't know how to drink from a bottle. And
then he drunk too. I know I have to keep him warm, but is there anything
else I can do? Will he always stay this 'fragile'? Is it just the stress
from coming to a new home? I know strokes are pretty common in gerbils,
but I never saw it before.
