Hi!

I presume you are talking about seizures and not strokes. A stroke in
English is an interruption of the blood supply to the brain and usually
causes serious paralysis.

The seizures you describe can be stress related but are usually harmless
and gerbils normally grow out of them.

As for your wet finger. Gerbils hate getting wet!
