Dog Biscuts

I read on a website a couple days ago that you can give dog biscuts to
mice and rats to help them have something to chew on and wear their teeth
down.  Does anyone know if this is also for gerbils?  I am wondering this
because I am running out of things to give my gerbs to chew on.  Any
comment would be great, along with other suggestions of what to give
gerbils for their active little teeth :).  Bob
