I've just been observing the comments made
regarding shipping and it seems that it is cruel to ship gerbils, period. I
mean, think about it. Being confined for a trip in a dark box (with a few holes,
I hope), not knowing what the heck is happening?
I would refrain from shipping as much as
possible...and search for gerbil breeders in your area. I'm glad that gerbil
shipping is so expensive, because it persuades people to look for other more
humane methods (legal ones too!).
