I wouldn't intentionally add it- if it's present in the tap water then you
really can't avoid it. I have a Brita filter pitcher that I use to give all
my animals their water. Having no idea what's in the tap water here (it
definitely smells like chlorine) I'd rather give something a little more
pure.
