Yes, but make sure it's not sharp sawgrass or crabrass.  Soft fine
bladed grass is ok....do remember though, that while it is 'moist'
and green that they will chomp it and treat it as fresh food as
far as amount given.

If you clip it with a hand shears and dry it first in the sun, then you
can treat it like hay/bedding.  It will still taste plenty good, but cause
less upset.
