If there's no change, then you know it's something else.

Keep in mind also that the irritated areas can get infected. I have had this happen.
The vet had me put tetracycline in her drinking water, and it cleared up. Of course I
changed the bedding too. :) So if it doesn't clear up you may need an antibiotic.
