Hi,
I have a pair that can produce about equal chances of schimmel or
nutmegs.....I have three orange pups which are 4-5 wks old but i have no
idea what they are. Are schimmels self colored? yes the
parents both carry 'ef' so schimmel is very likely. I dont see
any black ticking yet altho they have faint black noses but I think my
adult schimmels do also. Do schimmels carry black skin pigment? I
think one pup has a black skinned tail almost at the base, otheriwse I
have no idea and I need to know before they 'grow up' and obviously
either get ticking or fade.
