It sounds like there's been some kind of trauma to the paw if he's not
using it. Gerbil bone breaks almost always heal up on their own in a couple
weeks, so there's really nothing that needs to be done. The red on the nose
is likely not blood, but gerbil mucous (which is red). It could be from an
allergy, or even the stress brought on by the injuring of the paw.
