It is a PEW. I have a pew before & I thought she was a REW until she started gaining color on her tail. PEW's have the chch gene which gives them their dark tail. So do DTW. PEW's & DTW's are the same except for the eyes, mainly. A PEW has pinkish-red eyes, while REW have a very dark red eye, or as the jewel, ruby colored. I have seen a PEW & REW together in the same cage & you can tell the difference. PEW's also have a sort of pale pink pupil in the middle of their eye while REW's don't.
