I have two gerbil pet pairs, a male pair and a female pair.
I've recently noticed the males water consumption has at least doubled, and
occasionally tripled, over the females. I've checked their water bottles,
thinking there might be a leak, but they have bottle guards so they can't
chew 'em, and the bedding under the bottle's always dry.
They're fine in all respects, but this is a change that I can't figure out.
Any ideas?
