NEVER EVER EVER EVER INTRODUCE GERBILS WITH
ANY SORT OF HAMSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They will fight and both animals will be badly injured and usually
the hamster (guessing by size alone) will be the loser.
Dwarf campbell (usual kind of dwarf hamster kept as pets)
hamsters have problems with introducing one to another.
Keep your different kinds of animals separate. It may seem
like something really neat if you could only get them all to play
together or some such...and it will NEVER HAPPEN.
DO NOT ever let a hamster and a gerbil out at the same
time, or allow them access to each other. It will only end
in a major fight and at least one of them being killed.
Different kinds of hamsters do not get along either. Syrians
(the larger ones) don't even get along with each other, and
they certainly do not get along with dwarf campbells.
[trust me here, I've bred three kinds of hamsters and gerbils too]
