What you describe sounds like a heart attack. I am surprised
he survived.
Get babyfood, Gerber's fruit medley works good, and a needleless
syringe. Feed him that. It will help him have energy. Sunseeds
are high fat and energy but work to eat, this he would just be able to
swallow. Applesauce, is high moisture and can also be fed via
syringe. Plus usually seems to taste pretty good to a gerbil.
Take him with you. Keep him warm, and in as low stress of an
environment as possible. :)
He may recover or he may have another one, or just not wake up.
