Well first off, my email before about the phone lines and such being cut off
might have been a bit premature.  My father DID cut them off, but thankfully
Mom got everything back!  We can't do anything about the mortgage payments,
but the results of THAT should take a few months!

Anyway, to my question.  My gerbils are constantly filling their food bowls
with their bedding, which I've always thought to be a result of kicking their
bedding around.  But I just read on a website that it was a natural instinct
for gerbils to cover their food, which suggests that they put the bedding in
their food bowls on purpose.  Is that true?  If so, I'll stop taking the
bedding out all the time!  ;)  I always cleaned the bedding out of the bowls
because I thought (foolishly, I know) that they couldn't get to their food
otherwise!  ;)

Also, for a sillier question, is there any rhyme or reason for giving gerbils
those long (but neat) names, like "He Loves Me Not" or something like that?
(I just got that name from a Shockwave gerbil derby game, hehe)  It's not
really an important question, but I've been curious about it for awhile!  ;)

And that's it for now!  Have a nice day!
