Special Foods for Pups

Hi Again! Is there any special food requirement that should be followed with Pups in the tank with parents?  Mine are 19 days old, eyes just open and I was wondering: 1. When they begin to eat on their own. 2.  Do you need to place anything other than regular gerbil mix in for food. 3.  Should we supplement the water with any kind of vitamin supplement?   Thanks!
