You can put neosporin on the wound. The pups can be fed by hand with kitten
milk replacer. Just put one drop at a time on their lips to make sure they
don't aspirate it. It can be difficult to sustain pups so young with
handfeeding though. Also make sure the pups are kept warm- try using a
heating lamp to keep one corner of the tank at around 80-85 degrees.
The mother should see a gerbil-knowledgeable vet as soon as possible. If
the wound is infected, she may need a course of oral antibiotics to contain
the infection and keep it from becoming systemic.
