Unexplained Death

I had an agouti named Pretty (she had the prettiest face for a gerbil), who
passed on at about the same age, and that was from birth complications.  She
was overdue and she became listless and stopped eating. The babies that had
been active inside her, now seemed totally still. I set off to take her to
the vet. When I picked her up she was bleeding a lot. Pretty never made it.
It was a horrible experience to see her like that.
I'm sorry about Xena. Hopefully she didn't suffer.
