Hi, everyone.
I haven't posted in a very long time, but I need some help from the
experts...
When I checked on Millie, our gerbil, this morning, she was very
unsteady on her feet, didn't appear to want to open her eyes, fur looks
puffed up a bit, and may be constipated (piece of poop was "stuck" on
its way out). She doesn't look good at all. She was fine - running on
her wheel - last night when I went to bed.
The only thing that has changed lately is that I found out by accident
the other day that she loves carrots. I have given her one baby carrot
(small one) each day for the past 3 days. I would have thought if
anything she'd have diarrhea - could I have caused her illness? And
does anybody have any ideas on what I can do to help her get better?
She's a little over a year old, and is an "only" gerbil.
