| Sad news: The female (I think) pup died in the night. The male seems to be
doing fairly well, but I can't get him to take more that .20 CCs without refusing the syringe. He drinks pretty strongly for a bit, but then won't take any more. He also seems unable to reach the water bottle, though I've lowered it as far as I can without having it touch the bedding. Therefore, I think I'm going to try to give him milk every half an hour and if he won't take that, warm water. I've moved them to the kitchen table where there are no windows and therefore, no drafts. I hope I'm not freezing the little guy to death with all this attention. Any suggestions? insights? Bueller?? Thanks so much for your support thus far :) Sarah The Classic Theatrical Struggle: The Show Must Go On vs. This Is Stupid, I'm Going Home! |
