Thankyou for all the excellent advice you've given
me recently. however, this now leaves me with a dilemma.
what should I do?
options:
1, Blanche had her pups first so I presume she will
have her second litter first....so I could remove her when her two pups (Shish
and Donner...don't ask I didn't name them) are old enough! (Shy looks after them
as well, so I think they'll be fine)
2, Remove Shy(colourpoint slate) at some point
as she and Bob are related! however, the gerbcalc predicts that her litters will
contain both colourpoint slates and Burmese (nice). Whereas Blanche's litters
will contain grey and golden agouti. (still nice)
3, Remove Bob and let Shy and Blanche rear their
second litters together! (and live happily ever after?) Obviously this would
leave Bob mateless but I could keep either one of his sons or get him a new
mate?
I don't want to part with any of the adults as they
all have different characters and I'd miss them; any other ideas?
cheers
Colin
p.s. Bob (Burmese) definitely carries g as one
of Blanche's (ivory cream) pups (Shish... yes they're named after
kebabs) is a grey agouti.
