My gerbils (both females) used to do a strange behavior where one of them would keep
climbing over the other one's head or sit on her head. Sometimes it seemed like she
was peeing on the other gerbil's head too. It used to upset me because it seemed mean
and i've never heard of it before, but they only did it once in awhile. I have heard
of mounting from behind to scent mark each other, but never stepping on each other's
heads...
