I don't think we need a soda water detector, I mistyped that, sorry.
Disregard the co2 and replace it with CO - then the entire off topic will
make more sense.
But still, CO is deadly and a killer
CO2 is great for soda water - but I don't think anyone would give soda water
to gerbils - not that I am aware of, Bottled spring water Yes, but soda
water - talk about a gassy gerbil :)

I think you mean a CO detector, CO2 is carbon Dioxide, while for
home you would want to check CO, or carbon Monoxide.
