Hi,
I've been to a huge shop to see what I can get to make my own mix. I've
found some recipes that sound good.
Still some questions:
*for dogs and cats: with grains, rice, vegetables: 10% proteïne en 1,5% fat.
To me, it looks like pop corn. Is this good as part of their food?
*dogbiscuits: grains, carrots, vegetables, flaked maize: 11% proteïne and 5%
fat. Suitable?
*for hamsters and guinea pigs: alfalfa, barley, oats, wheat, safflower
seeds, maize, carob, peeled earthnuts, citrus pulp, pumpkin seeds, soya
lath, linseed, peas, melasses: 12,99% proteïne and 6,8% fat. Suitable?
*Reggie the Rat mix, Premium: torified wheat, wheat extrusions, poultry meat
extrusions (13%), whole maize (12,5%), flaked maize (10%), whole oats,
alfalfa pellets (5%), flaked beans, flaked peas, straw pellets, hipro soya,
soya oils, vitamins and minerals: 14,7% proteïne and 5,5% fat. This looks a
lot like a recipe someone send me, but the proportions are different. Is
this a good basemix?
My two males are still in their split-cage. but there has been some change:
lately, I saw the agressif one sleep next to (not against) the divider and
the next day, he tried to climb on it. Something he has never done before.
Has anyone any suggestions about this?
Thanks for any answers, sorry for the long mail.
Sarah
