Hello,
Over the past month or so, I have noticed that my almost 3-year-old gerbil Kobe has
been getting a lot fatter. Is it normal for gerbils to gain weight when they age?
Her diet hasn't changed (she eats Kaytee fiesta) and her activity level seems pretty
much the same, too. Should i change her diet? There aren't that many sunflower seeds
in her food, and taking them out for a few weeks hasn't seemed to have helped. Also,
it is not possible for me to mix my own food, and she will not eat fresh fruit or
vegetables, though she does eat the dried ones in the food.
