Well, my unexpected little bundles of joy are now 5 days old. I have yet too
see them again though I can hear them easy enough. Mom and Dad have what I am
sure is a nice and cozy nest in that small plastic igloo I gave them. I guess
I will have to wait until the pups open their eyes and start moving about
before trying to resume my attempts at socializing the parents and then of
course the babies. I have read that some of you handle the pups from day one
while others wait until about the second or third week to start handling. I
am sure it would be very stressful if I were to unearth the nest from beneath
the aspen to have a look so I guess I will wait for the babies to meet me
halfway so to speak.
Is it true they will begin to wander even before their eyes open? Will it be
safe to handle one then? Gee, I thought I researched all of this before even
picking up my two but still I have questions.
Thank you all for your help.
