Please don't think I'm picking on you, but typos can be funny: I think
you mean Lexan. . . I don't think you are putting a dictionary in your
gerbil cage, are you?
Is this shelf something you made yourself, or was it purchased? That
sounds like a good way to make a gerbil cage more interesting. If you
have a photo of that posted somewhere, or CAN post a photo somewhere,
I'd be very interested in seeing it.

You mean hollow, I believe? Or was this log blessed in a religious
ceremony?

Very seriously now, do NOT use this bedding. Do not give gerbils any
type of fabric for bedding. It can be deadly.

Excellent!
(Please don't take my teasing the wrong way. We all make mistakes and
sometimes they are funny. Another member of this list--forgot her name,
was it Deb Adams maybe, but she had Mike, Ike, and Cindy--was concerned
about gerbils fighting in her playbox. She meant to write, "My playbox
is for playing, not killing," but she actually wrote, "My playbox is
for playing and killing"! I pointed it out, and we all had a good
laugh.)
