"I use empty
paper towel and toilet tissue rolls for my gerbils to chew on. Is
it safe to give them other cardboard
such as empty cereal boxes or anything
else as long as their are no
staples huge amounts of glue? I thought I read
somewhere in a post today that
cereal boxes and macaroni and cheese boxes are
used but has anyone else tried
it? This is probably more info than anyone
would care to know but I empty
boxes such as that far quicker than the paper
rolls and thought it would be
a good way of keeping a steady stream of chew
material for my growing gerbil
family.
