Hi,
You might want to try to fill an aquarium with a mixture of dirt, shavings,
hay, etc.. Something you wouldn't do in your homing tank, cause it's not
practical. If you then leave them in that tank for some houres, they get the
chance to really dig, but no dangers of getting pups in the tunnels, tunnels
that collapse,.. cause it's just for a short time, and you'll be around, so
it'll be safe.
Or make something, with a lot of stairs, climbing possibility's,.. My sister
once made a gorgeous mini-climbing frame, but that was for our dwarf hamster
and after a week all the robes were chewed. So I guess that's not really
handy for gerbs, plus, it has fibers (Deb, I'm learning it!).

But if you have more than one tank, I think you should make one for every
tank, because of the other gerbilsmells. What do the others think about
this?
Hope I could help!
Sarah
