I have several REW and none of them are what I would call skittish at all. Some
of them will jump up to me when I remove their lid. They are all very friendly
and playful. There is one that isn't quite as outgoing but I wouldn't call her
skittish, either, it just takes here a wee bit longer to come to me than the
others. She's just a touch shyer. :)
