On Wednesday I went down to the pet store and picked a cute little male
Argente Golden. (I think) After setting up the gate splitting to cage into
two I noticed that Timbit was very excited about this new gerbil who I
called "Noname" at the time. About 40 seconds later Timbit found a small
hole leading to the other side and He ran right up to noname and put his
nose in noname's fur then they began to play and chase each other happily
around the cage. Timbit is now much more active and he runs, sleeps and
plays with who is now known as Truffles. But now I'm more worried about
Truffles. He sleeps and sits in his house all day and night, coming out
only about every 2 hours, to play with Timbit for about 10 seconds before
returning. If there something wrong with him? He looks healthy but doesn't
run around or eat very much. And he was energetic at the pet store when I
picked him out... :(
