I know you will all be so excited...but I want to share with someone.
For about 6 months now I have been trying to witness birth first
hand...even to the point of setting the alarm in the middle of the
night on "expectant" early mornings! Today I was doing the usual
water checks and my pied slate female, who I expected to give birth
in a few days, was in the process. I left her alone and just
watched...it was so cool! She would bend between her legs several
times, then you would see a bit of pup and then she would reach down
again and pull it out. She then did the same with the placenta.
Unfortunately, I had to take hubby to the airport, so only got to see
it once, but VERY COOL...and at 2 in the afternoon of all times...

Ok, that's all...sorry to bore you all, but I HAD to tell someone who
would care!

Thanks for reading...
Cindy
