Fill the tub with warm water, get a scrubbrush....use Dawn
Dish Soap (blue-greenish stuff in a squeeze top bottle) and
squirt and scrub. Rinse very well under fresh water.

DO NOT USE BLEACH with Dawn dishsoap.

If you do, it will react as if you mixed ammonia and bleach
and that gas is deadly in even minute amounts. And it
will knock you right off your feet instantly.

Dawn will cut most grime, and that will kill the smell. If you
have to, soak the frame for a few minutes in the sudsy
water to loosen the crud.

I only bleach when I have to disinfect because of a possible
disease problem, and I do that as a separate bleach-water
rinse, then rinse it with fresh water.

After washing and rinsing knock all the water off you can
and air or sun dry.
