Blindness

I had somebody email and ask me about their 7 week old pup.  All of them have
their eyes open but this one still runs into the glass and such.  Plus I
guess it sleeps with its eyes open.  She's concerned for the pups health but
I'm not sure what to tell her.  Any information on this would be most helpful
