Ok well now that I know my emails are getting thru
- thank you everyone for replying - I have a question. I recently
seperated one of our Momma gerbils with her remaining baby (a little girl) into
a new cage. The other 3 babies all died, I'm still not sure how or why but
I think it could of been Respitory infection as I found the Momma had it after
Ihad moved her - she had no signs before this. Anyway I obtained some
antibiotic for the Momma and some kitty milk for the baby and had been
administering this daily for a week. The baby thrived and the Momma
is healthy now too, my problem is, before this when I would walk into the room
the gerbils would come up to the glass to see what was going on etc. Now
whenever I walk in they dive for cover, will they be like this forever
now? Its quite sad, I want them to be the social little animals they once
were.
Thanks for you time
