Surely (my mystery female) died last night.
Her pups are 20 days old. Their eyes are
open and they are very active. I went to the pet shop to get kitten milk
this morning. Only two of the pups attempted to drink from the
dropper. Mostly they sniffed, got a drop on their nose, shook their heads
and cleaned their faces. At what age are they weaned, or does it depend on
the individuals involved?
They are not interested in farina (cream wheat)
grains. I put some rolled oats (oatmeal) in with them and they are all
very busy nibbling on that. What else
should I do for them for food?
