Hi All,
I have another question for experienced gerbil owners. My two gerbils
still aren't tame. They're getting better, and I put my hand in their cage
numerous times a day. However, they still usually run from me, and hide in the
corners when I try to handle them. A few moments ago, I managed to get Nape
into my hands, and I tried to soothe her but she was not liking it all, and I
had to put her back down in the cage. Immediately afterward she ran over to
Indy and cuddled up to him, and when I tried to give her a few soothing pets,
she sqeaked =( I guess I frightened her, but I don't really know how to go
about taming them and getting them used to me. Does anyone have any ideas that
would help me out here?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
