Hi!
I have 2 Male Gerbils with bumps in their tails.Both were a result of
fighting and when the scab healed it left a bump, if you move the hairs you
should see paler scar tissue if you don't then it probably isn't a result of
a fight.
One of my Gerbils with a bumpy tail made me laugh the other day, he has a
habit of escaping and got his bump on one of his escapades, he was out the
other night and one of my Chinchillas hopped out of his cage at feeding time,
I was a bit concerned for the Gerbil but I needn't have been.The Gerbil
chased the Chinchilla round the room!!!! I was quite surprised at that.
