I have two female gerbils. ( I am pretty sure of this ) :| OK now the
one gerb is chasing the other and it looks like they are mating. She
mounts and then cleans. And the other one lets her mount and then she
cleans. It is VERY strange. I have seen males do this to each other,
but I have never even heard of two females do it. I checked the one
doing the mounting and I do NOT see any sign of testicles. I even
pushed (gently) in case they are not transcended into the sack. So....I
am going to wait and see if we get babies. Although I don't see how
that is possible. Any insights on this behavior???
