I have to tell you this cute story. This morning I went to check on my gerbils. I have a mom and two babies in a split cage with a 4 month old male(squeakers) and a 5week old baby(Maggie). There is a little gap at the top of the tank and I forgot to cover it last night. This morning I got up to see no gerbils on the other side. (SCARY) After about a minute I realized they had cross the split and the male was keeping her babies warm. I 'm so happy it turned out this way!! It was so cute!!
