Hello, my name is Kate, I am not a member of this list but I do require some
expert help for my gerbil. Ginger appears to have had a stroke last night.
She cant walk right and her head is tilted to the left. I think her left
side is partly parilized. My questions is: What can I do to help her? There
are no vets in my areas that can help me because they unfortunately don't
treat rodents! How can I make her comfortable? I feel so awful with her just
stubbling around the cage! I read that some gerbils can recover from a
stroke, is that true? I made her some oatmeal and she ate alittle but how do
I get her to drink water? She is 4 years old so she is over the hill! She
also sleeps alot because she is so tired from trying to walk! I would
greatly appriciate any input to help Gingy out! Thanks so much!
